Doyle Brunson’s Hand of 10-2 Turned the Table

Poker game has always been a passion for me. It is a card game that attracts thousands of professionals around the world. I am a regular player on the online sites and spend hours playing this game. I admire great player playing so casually yet intelligently and turning the game with simple combination of hands. In fact unlike casino games, poker games depends mostly on the player skill and his ability to understand the situation. Initially I used to spend hours seeing games and trying to learn the trick from it. Way back in 1976, I was really stunned to see the game of Doyle Brunson winning with just a combination of 10-2.

I can still now recall back the game situation as it was a dream game for me. Brunson was in the final round of WSOP and his competitor was Jesse Alto who had a hand of Ace-Jack. Brunson had bagged in a big pot in the previous hand and held a combination of 10 and 2 spades. The real clash was on when Alto stroke a pair of 2 and Brunson got the chance to pick a pair of 10. The turn over then Brunson another 10 and he made possible a full house of three tens and double twos. Alto was just badly beaten and Brunson won his firs championship.

Incongruously, this situation was repeated in the following year with Brunson and Bones Berland facing each other. Bruno made it again with the same combination to fetch a win easily.
